The Perils of Jane in the Green Inferno follows Jane, an adventurous hiker who ventures deep into a remote South American rainforest and discovers what appears to be an abandoned settlement in a lush valley above a distant river.

Seeking shelter from the oppressive heat, she lets down her guard—only to be seized by a mysterious man whose sudden appearance transforms the wilderness from a place of escape into a trap.

As Jane struggles against captivity and the hostile environment around her, the story builds a tense survival drama centered on isolation, fear, physical and emotional endurance, and the question of whether she can survive the torments her captor plans for her.
